Since 1980 Dennis has been employed as a Retained Firefighter with the NSW Fire Brigade at a local regional station. His commitment to this role saw him promoted to Captain of this station in 1999.

his experience, combined with his time as a rescue training officer with the SES, has afforded Dennis comprehensive knowledge in all areas of fire fighting, rescue, casualty extrication and confined space rescue. We have been able to harness this 37 years experience and allow Dennis to share some of his expertise as a Safe Practices & Emergency Response Educator. His ability to impart real life scenarios make his classroom an enjoyable and interesting place to be.

When it comes to breathing apparatus, Ian McGrath is our man. Ian spent 14 years in the NSW Fire Brigade specialising and training in all areas of Breathing Apparatus and Hazardous Material Response.

His years of experience in the brigade, combined with the 4 years he spent as a fire fighter with Forest NSW, has allowed him to gain a well rounded, in depth knowledge of all areas of Safe Practices and Emergency Response. We are lucky enough to have Ian join our group of Educators where, he can share this experience with our participants and enable them to gain the confidence they need to assist them in real life emergency situations.

Fire fighting, cordage, vertical rescue, confined space and secondary rescue accreditation are just some of the areas of Greg’s expertise.This has recently extended to include Greg’s First Aid knowledge, which now sees him conducting our range of Emergency Care courses. As a natural Educator, Greg is able to take his experiences and share these with his participants. The result is high quality training, in a professional and educational learning environment.
